Listening to Episode 6 - the episode dedicated to showing that we had learned our lessons- we realized that we repeated some of the same errors that we thought we were done with!
Like what? Well, Paula loves her "pad" and as she was scrolling through articles, it was "popping". On this note, I suggested we move away from looking at articles while we are recording because it sounds like we are looking at something and I think that takes away from the intimacy of the podcast.
In Episode 7 (coming soon!) we are going to aim to be more prepared (which requires making time to connect more intentionally in advance) and yet do not want to diminish the organic nature of conversation. As for keeping up with the website and posting "cliff notes" to the respective episode--what can I say? We work full time, and have a house full of dogs and other folks, and haven't found a place in space and time to make it happen. This is part of the process. I believe it is important to carve out time to be creative. We'll get there, because we are determined. We have our hearts set on pushing the concept of the Girlpond forward, of building a new community for women. I don't think we have even hit on it yet, but if we keep shooting--the odds will be in our favor.
